It's been said before and I'm gonna say it again: it's not what you wear, but how you wear it. In other words, I don't care how much that coat/bag/shoe cost you, if your outfit rinses-out your personality, you're simply making a statement sans exclamation point. Like an ice-cream sundae without the cherry on top, it's no good having all the ingredients when you ain't got no garnish, baby!
Being that my peepers are constantly peeled for gals who know how to rock a frock (and not the other way round), you can imagine my excitement when 'The Ruby Revue' announced they were having a best dressed award at their October event.
For those of you who don't know, The Ruby Revue is fast becoming the final word in 'dress to impress'. Running on a monthly basis in both Sydney and Melbourne, this is an event comprised of equal parts of glamour and entertainment, a quality embodied by both performers and punters alike. A virtual smorgasboard of all things vintage, burlesque and daring, The Ruby Revue is truly a feast for the eyes and imagination.
