This is definitely something you have to watch. Back in early May, Dion Lee put on an outstanding show for RAFW 2010 (something that’s nothing new for Lee) and now thanks to the lovely boys from Hobogestapo, the people at Schweppes and of course Morgan Hyslop for capturing the footage, everyone can now see what went down in the lead up to Lee’s stunning SS10/11 runway show, and all in just under 5 and a half minutes.
Unlike other behind the scenes footage you’ll see, this short vid shows everything from the delicate and beautiful pleats and ink blotted prints to pattern cutting to prepping to fittings to rehearsals, right to the grand royal purple steps of the Opera House catwalk itself.
