Well the L’Oreal Melbourne Fashion Festival kick started with full force this week with a stellar Opening Party on Sunday night. Harper’s Bazaar presented the Opening Party runway show which featured garments from their Disney inspired photo shoot, designed and arranged by some of our beloved Aussie designers.
I loved Michelle Jank’s ‘Fantasia’ piece; everything from the high hair to the brow makeup, the black jewellery that gave a brilliant contrast to the white ensemble, right down to the fabulous white puffy mini dress itself. Other key designs which caught my eye included Colette Dinnigan’s ‘Alice In Wonderland’ piece (I still need to see that in IMAX 3D), Sass & Bide’s ‘Minnie Mouse’ piece and Romance Was Born’s ‘101 Dalmations’ piece.
What a great way to start off the L’Oreal Melbourne Fashion Festival.
