The fourth L’Oreal Paris runway for LMFF came down the catwalk on Wednesday night. InStyle presented designers that each has a unique signature. Arabella Ramsay, Gorman, Karen Walker, Lucette, Manning Cartell, Mimco, Obüs and Yeojin Bae all showed collections that were fresh, chic and fun.
The absolute standout collection for me was by far Lucette. They kept to a darker colour palette, which is always great for the colder seasons and every piece was hard-edged, strong and modern. I loved the black leather spandex tights with the exposed top and blue jacket. The touch of dark electric blue really made the outfit pop.
Mimco’s bold and multi-layered accessories were also very prominent in this fourth runway show. Not to mention Manning Cartell’s 80’s inspired collection (like many other designers) with peaked shoulders, padded shoulders, metallics and touches of fuchsia that really stood out.
Only two nights and three more L’Oreal Paris runways to go..
