After graduating with an Honours Degree in Architecture from the University of Queensland in 2005 and with an acute sensitivity for the structural form, Gary found that the discipline of architecture can translate over to fashion design with the same principle in mind - proportion.
Combining the structural proportion in architecture with the softness in fabrics, Gary seeks to design garments with a sense of modernity, elegance and femineity. By employing structured tailoring and clean lines, the designs capture the attitude and sensuality of the modern day woman.
Autumn Winter 2010 Collection is titled ‘Romance in Waiting’, which is inspired by his recent trip to Paris - the city of love. The collection reflects the sensual qualities of romance with soft drapes, ruffles and flounces. While the subdued autumn colours in lineup of black, beige, grey, brown, with shots of red, teal and mauve set the mood for the season.
