Gina Kim graduated in fashion design at Moreton Institute of Tafe 2001. Winning the Gold Coast student design award and the Viewer’s choice, for the Australian Fashion Design award.
In 2002 and 2003 Gina was announced the Supreme Award winner, at the Australian Fashion Design Awards.
The Gina Kim Couture label launched and opened first store in Brisbane, 2003
From this success, Gina became the official designer for Miss world Australia in 2004,2005,2006 and in 2004 saw her as the official designer for Miss Global International Joanna L in China 2004.
Gina Kim’s ready to wear label launched 2007. Gina showcased the label at Mercedes Benz Fashion Week in 2006, 2007 and 2008 with great reviews and followings. Also participated at the Rosemount Australian Fashion Week in Sydney 2007 and 2008.
Gina Kim has expanded to the international shores showcasing the label at Dubai in 2007 and the “G’day USA” Showcase in New York 2008.
