JAYSON BRUNSDON will launch Resort 2009 Collection at Rosemount Australian Fashion week. The women’s ready–to-wear collection will preview at the Rosemount Wine Bar, Friday 2nd May 2008 at the Overseas Passenger Terminal, Circular Quay Sydney. The 9.30 am intimate breakfast event.
Jayson Brunsdon says “the collection is about an earthy classical Roman sensuality inspired by the women in Federico Fellini’s extraordinary films. Shapes are derived from Italian couture during the “Dolce Vita” years. Personally it’s a collection that fuses all my signatures and themes that I have been exploring over the past 4 years …. Classicism, drama, cinema, structure, elegance and print”.
MAC’s make up guru Gordon Espinet from New York City will for the first time direct in Sydney. Espinet works with the designer on all his New York Shows. Joh Bailey will direct hair for leading brand TRESemme. Shoes are by leading Australian designer Terry Bivianno and designs in tropical weight Australian Merino Wool will feature in the presentation.
Jayson Brunsdon is an ambassador for UNICEF Australia and supports UNICEF projects for AIDS orphans.
